Welcome.

My name is Lauren Donovan. Thanks to my husband who is letting me use a porton of his website to make my music website. Make sure you check out his stuff.  My husband and I have a son named Evan.

I started playing the tuba when I was in grade school. I switched from trumpet because there wasn't enough tuba player and it looked fun. My senior year was true bliss. I achieved several awards at our band banquet but the biggest award was making district band and regional band. After high school I joined a drum corps and spent several summers marching DCI on a field in the hot sun. 

From 2002 to 2008, I directed a church music program and lead all the diverse music ensembles. I am now in NY studying privately at a college. I am a junior music education major and also a Marching Band Director in New York.


I have been playing my primary instrument, which is tuba, for 14 years. I also play Trombone, Baritone, Piano, Trumpet and Tenor sax. 

Private Lesson are available for tuba, trombone, baritone, trumpet, and Beginning piano.
